Camp Verde gets defibrillators
In an effort to promote and improve the general safety of Town facilities, the Town has acquired five Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). AEDs are used in cases of life threatening cardiac arrhythmias, which have led to cardiac arrest, and in tandem with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR); they should only be used by people who are both certified in CPR and AED operation. In the interest of promoting public safety, the Camp Verde Fire District has graciously offered to provide this certification training to town employees at no cost.
The AEDs have been strategically placed at the following locations: town hall administration building, public works building, the library and the marshal's office building. For more information, please contact Special Project Administrator Matt Morris at (928) 567-6631, ext. 115, or by email at mmorris@cvaz.org.
