Data released Monday by Yavapai County Assessor Pam Pearsall indicates that Single Family Residential home prices have risen by 16.1 percent year over year. The median sale price of a single family home also saw an increase from $185,120 last year to $215,000 this year.
The average square footage of homes sold in the last study was 1,849 compared with 1,940 for this study. The median sales price of homes in Yavapai County for the beginning of calendar year 2014 now stands at $220,000; up 2.3 percent over the $215,000 sales price from calendar year 2013.
The highest price paid for a home in the latest study was $1.255 million for a 3,936-square-foot home. This sales information is based on data received from the Assessor's Office Affidavits of Property Value.
