COTTONWOOD - Kim Wright Travel has changed locations in Old Town Cottonwood. Originally located at 1002 N Main St., Kim Wright has recently moved her office to 802 N. Main St.
She describes the business as a full-service travel agency. “I’m affiliated with CWT Vacations,” Kim said, “which is the leisure retail brand of Carlson Wagonlit Travel offering the largest array of leisure travel services available in the vacation travel industry.”
Kim says her travel service covers everything from economy to premium, from a quick trip to Las Vegas to a large family reunion cruise, and from an African Safari to a sub-orbital space flight.
Kim came to the Cottonwood area after closing her agency in Las Vegas after 30 years in the industry.
“In 1992, I merged my agency with two other agencies,” Kim said. “Operating a successful retail agency in Las Vegas specializing in group travel and offering both inbound and outbound travel.”
She said she loves planning reunions, weddings and conferences. She says she isn’t really interested in expanding. Her goal is to give the best possible service to all of her clients and help them to have the best possible experience in their travels.
“We like working with local people so we can sit down with them and get to know their wants and needs,” Kim said. “However, we will, and do, work with people from throughout the country and world.”
Kim explains that she also is an accredited agent for Virtuoso, a network of fine travel agencies with global connections.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, or by appointment.
