2/23/2012 1:03:00 PM ‘The Stories We Tell’ sermon at SUUF
On Sunday, Feb. 26, Rev. Paul Langston-Daley will present a sermon titled “The Stories We Tell”, discussing the concept that how we tell our stories matters as much as what we tell.
The term Narrative Therapy was coined by psychologist Michael White, and defines a new way of telling our stories and framing our lives. Today we consider the implications of how and what we tell others about our lives. The service will be held at 10 a.m. at the Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley, 100 Meadowlark Drive, Sedona. Music will be provided by Beth Kingsley Hawkins, Director of Music.
SUUF serves Sedona and the Verde Valley. It’s mission statement reads, “Our Fellowship is a place to grow in mind and spirit. We promote a loving, just, and sustainable world through service, learning and action.” For more information, call (928) 310-8171, or visit www.SedonaUU.org.
