VFW Post 6739 Ladies Auxiliary will serve breakfast on Wednesday from 8 to 10 a.m. They will have eggs to order, Belgian waffles, hash browns, sausage and raisin toast or English muffin for a $6 donation. Members and Guests Welcome. Proceeds go Operation Uplink.

On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Verde Valley Medical Center and Northern Arizona Hospice invite the community to the opening of a new 10,000-square-foot facility at 421 N. Willard St. where Northern Arizona Hospice will provide hospice care.

Native American artist Wolfs Robe will be playing music by moonlight at Montezuma Castle National Monument on Saturday. Wolfs Robe is committed to the preservation of the Native American flute as well as his own ancestral connections. His work has been credited with helping sustain the art of traditional flute music.
