This year, the 12th annual Ghost Walk will be proudly produced by the Jerome Historical Society. Each night begins in Spook Hall and continues on the back streets of town with scenes depicting some events and characters from Jerome's infamous past.
Come and see the sorted story of Sammie Dean and her tragic death in 1931. It's a murder that has never been solved even though there are three prominent suspects.
Other scenes depicted include a mine shaft accident, circa 1911; the Jimenez execution murders, circa 1928; Belgian Jennie, circa 1905; and a shootout in the Balkan Saloon, circa 1912.
Due to the nature of some of the scenes being depicted, this performance is rated PG-13.
The show includes walking over uneven ground at night, so wear comfortable shoes. The route is not handicap accessible.
