Brandi and Jason Fuller, owners of Brandi’s Kitchen, took a break Tuesday morning while getting the restaurant ready to open Saturday in its new location at the old Hobo Joe’s at 660 E. Mingus Ave. in Cottonwood.
COTTONWOOD - Brandi and Jason Fuller have moved Brandi’s Kitchen from the Safeway Shopping Center to the old Hobo Joe’s space at 660 E. Mingus Ave. They haven’t set a date yet for their grand opening, but, as of Tuesday morning, they planned to be open for business Saturday.
The Fullers opened Brandi’s Kitchen in the Safeway Shopping Center Jan. 16, 2008.
“We’re excited that we’re moving because we’ve been so busy over the last four years, we just needed more space,” Brandi said. She said the new location will allow her, soon, to offer banquet services for clubs and private parties.
Brandi said she and Jason are grateful to their loyal customers, and they hope to see all of those customers and some new faces in the new location.
“We’re almost doubling our space,” she said. “People on lunch break now can get in and be seated much quicker.”
“But we’re still committed to the same good service,” Jason said.
Jason pointed out that for two years running, Brandi’s Kitchen has been voted the best home cooking and the friendliest wait staff by the Readers’ Choice Awards.
Brandi’s is open seven days a week from 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“We do have daily specials,” Brandi said. One special is the Early Bird Special served from 5:30 to 8 a.m. Four years ago, Brandi was serving that special for $3. Now it is only $3.25. “We’ve only gone up a quarter in four years on the Early Bird Special.”
The breakfast menu is complete with the traditional offerings, including omelets, French toast, pancakes and biscuits and gravy. Brandi offers a lite menu with a lot of items. Customers can even create their own “Monster Omelet.”
For lunch, Brandi offers a good selection of burgers, hot and cold sandwiches, salads, wraps and more. About $7 will buy the highest priced items on either the breakfast or lunch menu. But each menu offers a large variety of items priced below that figure.
The daily specials include pot roast, and, on Tuesdays, Jason’s homemade chicken pot pies.
