As a former member of the Cottonwood City Council I was shocked at Dan Lueder’s behavior toward Mr. Doug Palmquist as reported by this newspaper. I am concerned that the newspaper report may be only the tip of the iceberg. I encourage the Mayor and the members of the Cottonwood City Council to take affirmative action to determine the nature and extent of bullying by all City employees. We should at least follow the lead of the kids in the Oak Creek School and Cottonwood Middle School who have begun the Safe School Ambassadors program, which is designed to identify bullying behavior and do something about it.
