Re: Tom O’Halleran’s My Turn, It is indeed unfortunate that in spite of increasing evidence of water quantity issues facing our region, some folks don’t want to use the best available science to formulate future policy. I wonder how far back they want to turn the clock. Maybe we should ask the Hohokam.

In the Verde, archaeologists generally agree it was the Southern Sinagua who resided in the area and mysteriously left the region around 1200-1300 A.D., possibly due to drought and a lack of water supplies.
