is just a normal day
We expect the store manger of a supermarket to be on top of everything. That's their job.
And, then, there's Mel Boyd, the Cottonwood Fry's Store Manager. You'll likely to find him pushing a line of shopping carts from the parking lot, unloading a dolly of packaged fireplace logs at an outside-the-store display, climbing high on a folding ladder checking-out a problem in the store's ceiling, operating a cash register at one of the check-out counters, pushing a dolly up a store isle stacked, high, with cartons of canned goods, stocking shelves, donning a baker's head veil, where required, always with an engaging smile and with the vim and vigor of a kid fresh out of high school, giving his very best.
My hat off to you, Mr. Boyd, for providing our Cottonwood community all the conveniences of a 21st Century Supermarket, with the friendliness of an early 20th Century small-town Country Store.
