1/30/2014 3:25:00 PM Letter: Christine Jones a political diamond in the rough
As I look out on the state of American politics today I see politicians who are more worried about what the next poll and focus group will tell them than what their heart and mind begs them to do. I observe politicians spending more time finding ways to shift blame around then they do working on their job of solving our America's problems. Worst of all, I see a system that is so unorthodox it thinks a bold action is proposing a new way to avoid making hard choices.
Despite all of this, I see men and women, who would have been content to live their life out of the spotlight, coming forward because they are baffled that the most basic of truths are so absent from government today. Christine Jones is one of these women. She has the character to make the tough choices, the experience to know how to get the job done, and the conviction to go to the State House and act as a bold conservative for the people of Cottonwood.
I recently met Christine and heard her speak at a Mingus Mountain Republican Club meeting. I was impressed by her mastery of the issues, her unique background, and her plan for Arizona.
I urge you to listen to what she has to say and consider her as your choice for the next Governor of Arizona.
