Letter: Immigration bill is amnesty

The Gang of Eight’s bill on immigration is “an amnesty bill, plain and simple.” Don’t be fooled by its claim to be a bipartisan immigration reform bill.

“...President Obama, the Gang of Eight,...the pro-open borders liberal media, and other dedicated leftists, will use lies, smears, and character assassination” or any other means to pass the amnesty bill.

What the bill is supposed to do and what it really does are totally different.

The United States Justice Foundation, a network of Constitution experts and attorneys, lists what the amnesty bill is supposed to do and then it counters with a list of what the bill really does. In effect, the USJF reveals the bill to be a phony, a fraud. It ultimately exposes what the bill is really designed to do, which is:

l. to expand the Hispanic voter base for Barack Obama and the liberal Democrats;

2, to pander to the liberal media and special interest groups;

3. to pay off wealthy businesses that employ illegal aliens for pennies; and

4. make Republicans look caring and reasonable on how {it} handles poor aliens.”

If you want to help “prevents Barack Obama and the Gang of Eight from erasing our borders, and from rewarding 11 million or more illegal aliens with all of the rights and privileges of U.S. citizenship, write to Arizona’s two Gang of Eight senators, John McCain and Jeff Flake, and demand that they vote against the amnesty bill. Also tell them that you are outraged that they are working with President Obama to sneak a National ID card power grab into the bill, which requires all U.S. citizens to have to be able to hold a job legally. This National ID system includes tracking devices such as retina scans and fingerprints, so the government can track your every move.

Oppose the amnesty bill and oppose the National ED card.

@ Arden Druce:
No, I'll write to Senators Flake and McCain to offer my condolences. I didn't think the control-freaks could scuttle immigration reform this time round, but obviously, I underestimated their determination. After a month of furious amending, there is no reform left. In fact, the most important sections have become retrogressive. Maybe this can be salvaged on the Senate floor, but I don't see how.

@ Arden, Dale and Jim:
Well, maybe not all the time, but some people can walk and chew gum simultaneously. Why do you think giving Homeland Security even greater power over U.S. citizens is less disturbing than expanding data collection?

@ Mary Jane:
Have you read the current version? Check out the guest worker programs. Check out the border security budget. Check out the lines of authority. See if you can find anything that isn't being turned arse-backwards. Immigration reform advocates could use some positive opposition right now.

@ the Editor:Too much Barber, Gohr and Druce. We can't take it anymore. Yeeks, they are scaring us to right into the mental institutions that maybe they should be residing in.

Anybody else notice how Arden and Dale let fly with quotation marks? Dale really pounds them out for no apparent reason while Arden very often uses opens quotations but doesn't end them, or vice-versa.

Can anyone explain this?

In Ohio, Democratic Poll Supervisors admitted to voting "numerous" times for Obama. And you say?

rant and rave about imaginary evils lurking behind almost every possible government action-- or, inaction-- we hear nothing from these right-wing watchdogs about the real evil being foisted on the cowering American masses by the not-so-supreme court.

Perhaps, Jim, Arden and Dale will gleefully open their mouths for their DNA to be swabbed by police after their next traffic arrest as willfully and thoughtlessly as they now vetch about imagined government transgressions.

Talk about misplaced priorities and fiddling while Rome burns!

This amnesty bill is doa, much like Mr. McCain's & Mr. Flakes reelection ideas.
As for a national ID, I won't comply - just like a few other things DC has tried to impose..........

As usual when it comes to T-Party diatribes, you distort the truth and even slip in some bald face lies.

Lies, smears and character assassinations are all part and parcel of the T-Party antics, used to 'persuade' people with their outrageous accusations of the coming 'New World Order' where you try to convince people that storm troopers will be knocking down your bunker doors and confiscating your AKs and ammo.

It's pretty obvious that you are quite frightened with the prospects of more voters and citizens exercising their rights, and well you should be! Oh well, back to the 'voter suppression' drawing board, eh?

The right wing T-Party activists are destroying the Republican party. I've wondered from time to time if they aren't really liberals, disguised as wackos, who through subterfuge and infiltration are trying to dismantle the Republican Party from the inside out. Either way, the effect is the same!
