10/31/2013 3:42:00 PM Letter: Speed and efficiency at VVMC
We have a great hospital in Cottonwood!
In the last few weeks, my husband and I have been "guests" in VVMC, two by choice and two by necessity! Our first visit was at 3:30 a.m. We couldn't believe the speed and efficiency that we received in both getting to the hospital and after we arrived in the ER. After the usual check in, a Dr. Dixon came in to see him. We were amazed at the time he spent with us, thoroughly going over everything. It was decided to send him to TELE where Dr. Peek was called in. After an overnight stay, Dr. Peek released him to come home that afternoon.
One of the next visits was for a scheduled procedure, which went well and we were home the same day. The last problem, totally unrelated to the others, took my husband back to the ER, where the problem was addressed and quickly taken care of. We can't convey our appreciation for all the care and professionalism he received. Thanks to all the nurses, PCT's and all others from both of us.
My visit was for a scheduled knee replacement. This is my second joint replacement and again I can't say thanks enough to all the JRP people, including Leighanne, the nursing staff and of course, my doctor. And, last but not least, the all important people in Entire Care, thanks to Carrie, Jean, Lawrence and Randy. It's them pushing you to do you exercises, and keeping a good mental attitude, that makes your joint replacement a success!
