Letter: I didn't retire ... I quit

About two years ago alot of my friends thought I retired. You are wrong if that is what thought I did. I was put part time after twenty one years of working there. That took my insurance and four weeks of vacation from me. In case you think Obama health plan will help you, look what it did for me.

You will see alot of people only working twenty nine hours or less, so they don't have to pay for insurance. It is either President Obama's way or none at all. Look at the things that have gone on and we have no answers. Why did they go wrong?

Don't be fooled by some of the things he says. Keep an eye on the things he is doing over seas now. Iran is pulling the wool over his eyes. I wouldn't trust any of those countries. They are just dictators, I hope we don't get one here in America. I worry about the people of United States of America.

It is sad it is my way or no way at all, from Obama.

The Republicans will get blamed for this, but I feel it is going to back fire on the Democrats in the Senate.

Just remember what happened to me after working twenty one years in the same place. I lost everything that I worked so long for. I could tell you of some places in town that are hiring part time only. You are going to see more of it from now on.

With the Lord's help I have been able to keep things going.

With Obamacare, you'll not only have heath insurance, but your premiums will be based on your income so you will be paying less. You also had the option of COBRA after you lost your health insurance. I used COBRA for 3 yrs and it was $1012 a month to cover me and 2 children. Came to 45% of our monthly income. Now we have no health insurance. You should be jumping for joy to soon be able to afford insurance.

What happened to Ms. Turnipseed is by no means an isolated incident. It is but one of many unintended negative consequences of the horribly misguided Obamacare health reform act.

And if you think it's bad now, just wait. Obamacare not only is knocking people out of full time work, it's adding over a trillion in new costs to an already unsustainable system.

"Welcome to Obamacare, where we uniquely combine the efficiency of the post office with the compassion of the IRS!"

Can you just wait until the IRS audits you for compliance with this, the largest tax increase in history?

This is what happens when you elect a far left president with virtually no experience or understanding of business or economy.

This is what happens when elect Democrats to control both houses of Congress, and they ram through awful partisan laws that hurt people.

The sad part is that these naive liberals think they are helping people.

And this is just the start my friends. Be put on 28 hr. week, pay for your own health insurance or be fined. We already have a dictator as our leader. And there are some people that bow to him. This country has gone to Hell in a hand basket.

It wasn't Obama that cut your hours, it was your company.

I bet your boss, his boss, their bosses, the executive management, and the owners are still getting the same hours and the same benefits. The ones higher up that chain are probably making more.

But no, you're right, it's Obama's fault.

You probably think the Affordable Care Act is a great idea but you hate Obamacare.

Corporations and even small business owners began nudging their workers to part-time status long before the ACA, Lavone.

Are you already on the "Obama health plan," or did you have insurance thru your previous employer?...they are not the same thing.

I mean I'm sorry you lost your job, but it isn't Mr Obama's fault.

Did they not have a choice in the matter?

And now that you would have been part time you could of at least qualified for affordable healthcare under the new system. You still blame the govt.?

It's the chicken or the egg- at least you have the option now that you never would have had before.
