I think that the ‘Adopt A Highway’ program is an awesome program, and I applaud all who volunteer their time to go out and pick up trash that other less responsible people have left behind. I just have one small concern ... I notice that the Camp Verde Marshals Office has adopted the mile of 260 Highway just outside of town.
That is GREAT, but I don’t think it is fair that there are many others who set aside time to do this with in the Camp Verde Area and I don’t see any of the Marshal’s cars parked at either end of the group with lights on to warn on coming traffic of the pedestrians ahead.
I think this is a courtesy that should be shown to all who sacrifice there time to do this.
