The artists of Made In Clarkdale, would like to extend their gratitude to their sponsors, the communities of the Verde Valley, all visitors and patrons, and especially the media for making this year’s 26th Annual Art Show and the other events held by The Clarkdale Historical Society, the Copper Museum, and Clarkdale Parks & Recreation of the Town of Clarkdale a great success.
This year 50 artists participated in the show including 17 new artists, and 3 returning Yavapai Community College art students, all offered a wonderful variety of mediums. Approximately 750 people attended the Gala Opening event this year all enjoying the traditional entertainment of the Janice Paul Quartet and the Blue Dragon Belly Dancers refreshments and many enjoyed the performances at the new Evenings at MIC of “Sax Appeal” and Connie Lee Marie Fisher. Over 2,000 people attended the show during its ten day run and 400+ students attended workshops that were provided by Made In Clarkdale artists!

MIC has once again, met their mission to offer motivating arts education classes for youth, to encourage and nurture creativity and appreciation for art being inclusive of the many levels of experience and talents of local artists, and to bring the surrounding communities together to celebrate one another and the arts. As Made In Clarkdale moves forward to non-profit status the organization hopes to develop more art education opportunities, resources for the artists and becoming ‘more than an annual art show’ to the Verde Valley Community. With your continued support by attending the show and through tax deductible donations the funds can be generated for these efforts. It’s not too late to make a donation at www.MadeInClarkdale.org or calling 928-239-4776.
Happy Holidays and see you all next year!
