Letter: Leave Wall Street for Sesame Street

Editor:

After months of hearing the pros and cons with regard to Fox News, Kermit the Frog’s and Miss Piggy’s Jan. 26 response to Eric Bolling’s ludicrous accusation that the Muppets are an example of how the “liberal media” tries to “brainwash our kids” were like breaths of fresh air. Miss Piggy’s response was, in my opinion, spot on saying “(The brainwashing charges are) almost as laughable as accusing Fox News of being ... news.”

Maybe it is time for the Fox News Executive Board to take the day off and spend it watching back-to-back episodes of Sesame Street. If nothing else they would learn “C” is for compassionate, conscientious, concise and credible.

Sorry, I forgot to add...

Run by Liberals and Independents...

You know I almost forgot those Independents....You know, Independents-those people who are actually Liberals/Progressives, but are afraid to be labeled as "Liberals" in public and disguise themselves as something else. Walks like a duck....
Such a sham.

It's impossible to brainwash a child to be liberal - children are born liberal. The result of poor parenting is that neglected childen learn to be whiny, selfish, close minded and entitled.

Sesame street is popular with children because they have a natural aversion to "growing up".

Thank you John (yet again!) and "Another Liberal..." for clearly demonstrating the timelessly accuracy of the words of PT Barnum and H L Mencken:

"You Will Never Go Broke Underestimating the Intelligence of the American Public.

Also, note this information:

From Forbes.com: A poll by Farleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey showed that of all the news channels out there, Fox News viewers are the least informed.

Another: A University of Maryland study published earlier this month found that people in the survey who had the most exposure to Fox News were more likely to believe falsehoods and rumors about national and world affairs when compared to those who paid attention to other news outlets.

Other examples verifying the same data abound.

Enough said-- for most intelligent people.

Never ceases to amaze me how many liberals watch Fox news even though it apparently aggravates them to no end.

I don't watch Fox or MSNBC for that matter.

But I do note that among all Americans, Fox is polled as the most credible source of unbiased news and information, coming in at double the percentage of PBS.

It is funny how the Left constantly attacks Fox News. Of course we know why Fox News out ranks all of the Left's offerings combined. CNN, MSNBC, all the alphabets...

It is no wonder they try to discredit Fox because slowly but surely the Left is losing its grip on the media monopoly.

Hey Christy, nobody is forcing you to watch Fox...you can turn Rachael Madcow back on now for your constant supply of lefty drivel....you know, 80% of programming devoted to discrediting Fox.... Who's not really reporting the news hahaha
