Editorial: Celebration of Christmas is highlight of holiday season in Verde Valley

One of the Verde Valley’s greatest holiday traditions is Emmanuel Fellowship’s seasonal production of Celebration of Christmas.

Now in its 14th year, every aspect of Celebration of Christmas is nothing short of breathtaking. It’s abundantly evident that the Emmanuel Fellowship crew begins preparations early for this show and no detail is so small that it does not receive special attention.

From the professional musicianship to set design, special effects, lighting, pyrotechnics, high-wire acrobatics, animal displays, expert acting and angelic vocalists, the Celebration of Christmas show is a joyful, heart-stopping, magnificent stage and music production.

The added message at the end of the show in sharing the importance of remembering Jesus Christ during the Christmas season and having all the performers greet and thank every audience member made it all the more special. You left with a full realization that this was much more than an evening of the highest levels of professional entertainment, but it was one that also tugged at your heartstrings.

It was special.

Our thanks to Pastor Frank Nevarez, Executive Producer Mikel Swank and the entire staff and congregation of Emmanuel Fellowship for bringing Celebration of Christmas to the Verde Valley.

It’s over the top!

Bravo to the cast, crew, pastors, and director of Emmanuel Fellowship's "Celebration of Christmas". What a beautiful and professional production that presented an important, powerful, and transformational message to the audience in a truly delightful way all wrapped up in holiday festivities.
