2011: Medical assistant program at Yavapai College
Medical assistants are an important part of a patient’s health care team. They work with all members of the team to ensure patients receive the care they need while providing their team members with vital patient information.
Medical assistants are an important part of a patient’s health care team. They work with all members of the team to ensure patients receive the care they need while providing their team members with vital patient information.

Doctors need critical support in their offices as well as the hospital. That’s what makes being a medical assistant so exciting.

The medical assistant is the hub of the office. From front office procedures to back office support, the medical assistant is in the middle of all the action.

Medical assistants are an important part of a patient’s health care team.

They work with all members of the team to ensure patients receive the care they need while providing their team members with vital patient information.

The medical assistant position is expected to be one of the fastest growing jobs from 2008-18.

Yavapai College’s Medical Assistant certificate program will prepare students to assist physicians’ in their offices and other health care settings.

The program can be taken through a mix of classroom sessions and distance learning. It’s offered in conjunction with Northern Arizona University so there are transfer options available.
