Visitors to the Verde Valley will find good fun and good food at Blazin' M Ranch, out along the banks of the Verde River, not far from the Verde Railroad. Everyone is invited to stop by for some slow-simmered, mouthwatering barbecue and downright funny western theater. The genuine western hospitality is thrown in for free.
Before dining, guests are encouraged to meander through an Old West courtyard complete with events that have entertained folks around here for a hundred years. Visitors can choose a lively game of horseshoes, or test their aim with some target shooting, maybe even learn to rope with a mechanical horse and steer. There'll be some living history going on around you, and many visitors get a real kick out of seeing their friends and family behind the bars of the local jailhouse.
Some like to hop aboard the mini-railroad for a free ride, touring the property and passing exotic and domestic animals. A vast collection of antique ranch implements is in clear view. These implements are highly valued by collectors but were crucial to the survival of the early settlers.
Five western shops line the courtyard, each reminiscent of the early mercantile when the Wild West was still wild. Feel free to dress up in a fancy saloon ensemble, lacey Victorian regalia or gunslinger garb to pose for an Olde Time photo in the studio. Blazin' M Ranch also boasts a one-of-a-kind Wood 'N' West Museum with movable, miniature Old West scenes.
When the dinner bell rings, guests need to bring their appetites to feast in rustic splendor using tin plates and cups, just as real cowboys did around campfires more than a century ago. After the all-you-can-eat supper of chicken, beef, beans, potatoes, applesauce and biscuits, guests sit back, relax and enjoy the rustic styling of the Blazin' M Cowboys. These fellas continue to entertain audiences with their authentic cowboy music, tall-tales and some sidesplitting surprises.
With Old West personality and appeal, the Blazin' M Ranch offers every ranch visitor an opportunity to step back in time to experience history, hospitality and entertainment. The Blazin' M Ranch Chuckwagon Dinner Show will make the evening a memorable one.
