Thank you for being the true matriarch of this family. Of showing everyone Christ through your unconditional love and acceptance of people. Thank you for all the history you shared with me with each visit we made to your house. Thank your for your amazing example of what a marriage can and should be. Our family won't be the same without you, and our trips to Arizona will be void of one of the most important parts you. Enjoy worship in Heaven... We'll see you soon!

You gave me unconditional love, peace, safety and my only opportunity to go to church. You are the inspiration behind my degree in Gerontology and I will do my best to make a huge difference in people's lives as you did.
Forever in my heart! I love you! My life will never be the same without you, my dad and my sister...but I shall see you in Heaven.

Evelyn Wager set the standard for cheerfulness and love in celebrating her Casner, See and Cummings history and the important part they played in the history of the Verde Valley - particularly Camp Verde, Beaver Creek and Cherry. If you wanted to know something about the history of those families or communities, she would always lovingly share the history woven into her long life and experiences here as well as her treasure trove of historic family photos.

Evelyn will be sincerely missed and her death is a true loss to the culture and for all residents of the Verde.

My Aunt Evie was a kind and gentle soul who lived life with her heart wide open. She, and my Uncle Clint, did more for me and my brother and sister than we could ever repay. I have nothing but gratitude for having been her nephew.
