Dear Jody,
I'm am so sorry to hear of Earl's recent passing. I had the pleasure of getting to know you both when I receptioned for Dr. Joe Ditterline. Earl was what my dad would call "A Good O'l Boy" which meant he was the salt of the earth or just a true Gentleman and that he was. I also had the pleasure of Earl making me a wood carving of a Pelican which I named "Pete" before my husband and I moved to San Diego. As soon as I saw Earls obituary, I instantly picked up Pete and mentioned the passing of your husband, I will always treasure my gift from him. Knowing that Earl is at peace in heaven is a blessing to you and our blessings and love are sent your way during this difficult time and always. There are two different passages I would like to share with you in different readings I've come across, they're both beautiful. The first is Grieve not nor speak of me with tears, but laugh and talk of me as though I were beside you. I love you so, it was heaven here with you. The second is Come you saints of God, Hasten Angels of the Lord to receive his soul and bring him to the sight of the almight. Again, our thoughs & prayers are with you Jody, Earl will be missed dearly.

Sharon Harris
