Ralph August Gibbs, 94, of Sedona passed away December 17, 2012.
Ralph, a former marine and veteran of World War ll was born August 6, 1918, in St. Louis, Missouri.
Ralph worked as a contractor and homebuilder; his craftsmanship can be seen in the homes that he built in Sedona. He was also a talented creator and writer of music in his band “The Golden Tones” along side his wife the drummer “ Betty GIbbs. They played many events around the Verde Valley for 25 years.
He enjoyed trips to Laughlin with his sweetheart, Betty where they would fish and enjoy the sights.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Elizabeth; children, Ron, Sandy, Judy, Bob, Linda, and
Bruce; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 11 AM Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Chapel of Bueler Cottonwood Funeral Home, 255 S. 6th St., Cottonwood, AZ.
