To say what an honor it was to know her in life and to be with her as she passed into her next "phase of life" is a profound understatement, Phil. Valerie, thank you for the wonderful times we shared and the honor of your company. I will miss you.

To All:

Thank you very much for your kind words, thoughts and prayers.

Val had a great run at life and was always accepting of what Fate brought her way. She knew who she was and was always comfortable in her own skin. Our 22 years together were magnificent.

She did her best.

Merry Christmas to all and here is hoping for a healthy, Happy 2012.

Dear Phil, when I saw this obituary I didn't even make the name connection, at first. Now I realize this dear soul is your wife.

I am so sorry for what must be such a profound loss, for yourself and your families... You will all be in my prayers...

Val, I will miss you. You were the most honest and "tell it like is person" I've known in the medical field in 17 years in the valley. There is no equal. God Bless.

Valerie will be missed by all of her childhood "Valley Girl Friends" that now live in Spokane WA. Her laughter was contagious and from the heart, her smile would brighten the day. I will miss my Friend.

My sincere sympathy to Phil & Robby and their families. Berta
