Judy and Dulci...Living the Dream in Old Town By Judy Rupel, Cottonwood, AZ One day Old Town Cottonwood will secede from the rest of the Verde Valley and when that day comes, I want to be the Mayor. I love Old town and have always wanted to live there.

I'm sore...why am I so sore? Let's see... I've been working out now for a few months and haven't been this sore before. What did I do? My abs and arms feel tight and I can actually feel the muscles working when I use them. I feel stronger and my lung capacity feels greater. I want this incredible lightness of being to continue, so what did I do to deserve this?
Oh yeah! I did a workout class with Yolanda yesterday!
If you do no other class at Parks and Rec. in Cottonwood take a class from Yolanda. She brings more than a dozen years of experience ... thoughtfully personalizing her sessions to meet each person's activity level ... cheerleading us on with laughter, encouragement, and acceptance.
I began taking her classes when I first moved here in 1999 and found a warm-hearted group of women (and Lee!) who formed my circle of friends (and massage clients as well) for many years.
She knows how to get your feet moving, your heart pumping, and your abs crunching!
Her other job is with Phoenix Cement and she's responsible for getting her employer to sponsor some of the classes at Parks and Rec.
Body Sculpting takes place Tues. and Thurs. at 6 a.m. and Saturday at 11:15. Check out a class and find friendship and a fun workout...and find your abs again!!!
