... sometimes it seems that the ducks are just having a great time and this shot epitomizes that feeling. A pair of mallards are landing on water turned golden by the reflections of the vegetation around the pond while a pair of ring necks are cruising quietly along near the shore. I love the bow wake the greenhead is throwing as he settles into the water and the rooster tail coming up behind his tail feathers as it is not a common thing; mostly it is just a churning of the water like is coming off the front of the hen. At any rate, I hope you enjoy the photo.
I appreciate all the comments today on the new website: http://tedgrussing.com . I do listen and incorporated many of the suggestions into the website. I also added a "floral" gallery with some very nice photos included. Much work still to be done, but it will evolve. Thank you. Have not got the stats for the fifteenth yet, but through the fourteenth I had more than ten thousand hits on both websites.
Still looking for donors for Josh's MS bike ride coming up this spring. He is riding in honor of Corky this year so please make a gift this year; it will benefit those who come after us. The link is: http://main.nationalmssociety.org/site/TR/Bike/AZABikeEvents?px=4412571&pg=personal&fr_id=19752 . Thanks
It is a wrap for the day ... hope yours was as great as ours.
