Three homeowners were recognized at the November meeting of the Cottonwood Ranch Board of Directors for their outstanding properties. Selected by the Neighborhood Pride Committee, the first place award for fall 2011 went to Jim & Carol McMeekin, 140 Agave Circle. They received a personalized plaque from the Ranch Board and their names will be added in the permanent plaque located in the Clubhouse. Jim & Carol moved to Cottonwood in 1997 from Scottsdale. They love the wildlife and the rural area. Receiving Honorable Mention for the fall quarter were Roger & Pat Kroepel, 390 Desperado, and Hal & Elaine Alford, 325 Buckskin Circle. They each received a framed certificate and photographs of their homes are on display at the Clubhouse. Roger & Pat moved to Cottonwood Ranch in 2009 from Southern California. They fell in love with the open concept of the Ranch, as well as the view of Mingus Mountain. Hal & Elaine resided in Peoria, AZ until they moved to Cottonwood in 2001.
