This time, 35 of 36 juniors and seniors in Heather Mulcaire's animal science classes passed the State Animal Science Assessment test.
Senior Grant Ledbetter, as a junior, earned the second highest individual score in the state.

| 104 Candles |
About 60 members of Althea Ellen Terry Burns extended family joined in celebration of her 104th birthday on Saturday at the Mountain View United Methodist Church in Cottonwood. Althena was born in 1906 and moved to Flagstaff with her family in 1923. In 1925 she married Nelson Burns and together they had 5 children. The family moved to Cottonwood in 1955 and Nelson passed in 2009 - the couple was married for 66 years. Althea maintains a duplex in Cottonwood, continues to be active in her church and loves to entertain family. Family members from Nevada, California, Utah and New Mexico traveled to Cottonwood to help celebrate Althea's birthday. | Sedona Mobile Home Destroyed |
A triple-wide mobile home was destroyed when it caught fire about 5:25 Monday night. The home was located near the clubhouse in Sedona Shadows, a mobile community west of Sedona. No one was home at the time of the fire. Sedona Assistant Fire Marshal and spokesman Gary Johnson says there is no estimate of the loss or cause of the incident, since the investigation had just begun.
