One serious crash on White Bridge in Camp Verde may have led to another accident on Friday afternoon.
The Marshal's Office was called to a single-vehicle accident on State Route 260 near Boyer Lane at around 4:30 p.m. On arrival, deputies found that the driver, identified as Coby Cook, had been thrown from the vehicle. Due to his injuries, Cook was flown to Flagstaff Medical Center.
Shortly after that accident, there was a two-vehicle collision in the same vicinity causing minor injury. According to CVMO spokesperson Darby Martin, the cause was believed to be related to the congested traffic from the first accident.
