Ribbon cutting for the completed Jail Trail Parking Lot in Old Town Cottonwood took place on Wednesday morning, July 3.
COTTONWOOD -- Today, July 3, at 8 a.m., Cottonwood will have a grand opening for the long-awaited additional parking lot (#3) in the far north end of Old Town Cottonwood area. Light refreshments will be provided.
The City began construction on the parking lot at 1103 N. Main St., next to the Wild Rose Tea House (the Old Town Jail) May 6, and completed the work June 28. The General Contractor was Kinney Construction, with the concrete work by Precision Concrete.
The new parking area provides an additional 44 parking spaces for the Old Town area visitors and businesses, with lighting structures to be provided in the near future.
