4/23/2013 12:55:00 PM Verde Valley Medical Center names Susanne Maiden chief nursing officer/vice president of nursing
Verde Valley Medical Center recently selected Susanne Maiden, R.N., M.B.A., as chief nursing officer (CNO) and vice president of nursing for the organization. Maiden has been serving as the interim CNO/Vice President of Nursing Services since November 2012. Maiden's role will focus on the oversight of inpatient clinical care. Maiden has more than 20 years experience in managing inpatient nursing units.
Maiden joined VVMC in 2007 as the director of the medical/surgical and orthopedic inpatient units. Prior to joining VVMC, she was the nurse manager at EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria, Ohio. Since 1980, Maiden has held several management roles and has experience in the oversight of general medical/surgical, telemetry, orthopedic, oncology and pediatric units.
Maiden earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration, both from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. She earned her registered nurse degree from M.B., Johnson School of Nursing in Elyria, Ohio.
