Just in time for Valentine's Day, the 24 galleries and studios of Jerome were open for business and in a celebratory mood for the First Saturday Art Walk, February 2. At Gallery 527, artists Brandi Lee Cooper and Marian Ward were the featured artists. The reception was well attended with a mix of old friends, art viewers and weekend tourists. Equally festive was the scene at the nearby Jerome Art Co-op. Bernie Lopez is showing a collection of new acrylic paintings he calls Envisioned Realism. Many of the 35 co-op artists were on hand to mingle with guests for the evening reception. The Art Walk takes place the 1st Saturday of each month throughout Jerome.
