The Clarkdale Historical Society & Museum's 4th annual Historic Home and Building Tour was a success on Saturday, December 15, despite the frequent showers and cold temperatures. The tour featured landmark buildings in the old town Clarkdale area, as well as the return of the reenactment of a bit of town history, the armed bank robbery of 1928. As a bonus to the homes on the tour, the Copper Museum welcomed visitors to preview the collection as the old High School building and exhibits inside near the final stages of completion. The Clark Memorial Clubhouse was open for guests to indulge in homemade cookies and hot chocolate in-between shuttle vans that routinely traveled form one building on the tour to the next. At midday there was a Centennial Time Capsule Dedication at the Clarkdale Civic Plaza - the capsules will be on display in the Clarkdale library for viewing by the public for the next couple of weeks.
