Cottonwood Oak-Creek School District employees to retire

With a collective 42 years in the Cottonwood Oak-Creek School District, Dianne Frazier and Dr. Michael Viotti have shown strong leadership in their fields and in their community. Their dedication and commitment to the students that they serve and to the community is unmatched.

"We are thankful for their dedication to not only our school district, but the entire Cottonwood community," said Superintendent of COCSD, Barbara U'Ren. "They have truly left a mark on this district and made a significant difference for students."

Dianne Frazier, Director of Special Services and ELL Coordinator

• Joined the district in August 1992

• Began as a teacher at Cottonwood Elementary School, 1st grade

• Has demonstrated the following characteristics - actively grows her skills to become a more effective teacher, dedicated to students, the profession and enthusiastic

Dr. Michael Viotti, District Psychologist

• Joined the district in August 1981

• Nationally certified school psychologist in 1989

• Worked for countless students and faculty to assist in assessments related to special education and self-management in the class room

Sharing Special Education Services with Mingus is a step in the right direction, and these two employees obviously did not want the additional workload. Thank you for retiring so that that change can happen. If you don't change, you will become extinct.
