COTTONWOOD -- When a bouncer asked two customers to leave the Rockin' B just before 3 a.m. Saturday morning, they jumped in a red Volvo and then wheeled around right in front of the bar's front door.
The bouncer repeated that they needed to leave. At that time, the driver drove back and forth in the parking lot, peeling out and throwing rocks, according to the subsequent police report. At one point, the car drove onto the sidewalk where the bouncer was standing, and the bouncer had to jump out of the way.
An officer apprehended the vehicle on Main Street and the driver, Casey Fowler, 22, of Cottonwood, was arrested. Fowler was charged with attempted aggravated assault and endangerment.
When the vehicle was impounded, it had a hole in the windshield and there was glass in Fowler's lap. The officer asked the bystanders who had thrown the rock, but they all denied it.
