CAMP VERDE -- As part of the recognition of Victim Rights Week, an informational display was presented at the Verde Valley Superior Court Building in Camp Verde this week.
The Yavapai County Attorney's Office is dedicated to recognizing the needs of crime victims and the preservation of victim rights.
The Yavapai Victim Services Division has been providing comprehensive victim assistance and victim compensation services to crime victims in Yavapai County since 1990. The services provided by this program are not duplicated by other agencies in Yavapai County.
Each April, Office for the Victims of Crime helps lead communities throughout the country in their annual observances of National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) by promoting victims' rights and honoring crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf.
In 2013, NCVRW was observed April 21-27. The theme for NCVRW 2013 is "New Challenges. New Solutions."
