Wings & Dreams to benefit St. Joseph's School
Nov. 25 event proceeds go to scholarship program

COTTONWOOD - A wine tasting and live auction event will be held at the Dragonfly Lounge in Cliff Castle Casino Nov. 25 to raise money for the St. Joseph's Catholic School Scholarship Program.

The live auction will feature Anna Aja, auctioneer.

Evie, Ray & Friends Blues Band will provide background music throughout the event.

Wine tasting begins at 4 p.m., and the live auction begins at 5 and ends at 7.

A Dragonfly Wings Package donation bid card is $20 per person and the cost is credited toward the first purchase. The bid card includes participation in the wine tasting and auction. For those who do not want to participate in the auction a Butterfly Dreams Package donation is $10 and includes the wine tasting.

An Angel Wings Package donation is $50 per couple, and $20 of the cost is credited toward the first purchase. The package includes limousine transportation to and from Cliff Castle Casino, a complimentary bottle of wine, one bid card and wine tasting for two.

"Rendezvous In Old Town is donating all the wine," said Merrily Pychinka of St. Joseph's.

The live auction will feature items such as two Picasso prints from Marina Picasso Collection, original art from Reyne Treve and other artists, brunch for two at Enchantment Resort.

A two-night stay at Sedona Pines Resort is also on the auction list as well as 10 tickets to the Sedona International Film Festival for the Mary Francis Theater.

"There will be light fare at the event, cheese, crackers, fruit and chocolates," Pychinka said. "Also, it is a Sunday, so Storytellers has a Surf and turf special for two for $24.95."
