Letter: Hang with dogs and you will get fleas

I was so ashamed that I took my two grandchildren to a City of Cottonwood Council session.

What they said they heard was a man who was being honest asked to be quiet or leave (I admit it was somewhat brutal honesty and accidentally included people who were not involved, one that is).

Then they witnessed a woman get up and identify herself as a lawyer who has lived in Cottonwood a short time, who for one thing spoke way over the 5 minute limit and falsely stated the dog park is never loud or out of control and doesn’t smell. They know first hand what the dog park is as they have heard, smelled and witnessed it first hand many times.

The last thing they witnessed was a bunch of people saying they did not want a dog park next to their homes and to leave it next to mine, stating “She is only one person. Why should we change for one person?” Then they saw their grandmother leave crying.

I don’t believe this whole city government sucks, but if the good guys keep hanging with dogs, they too will get fleas.
