SUV destroyed in rollover fire

 COTTONWOOD -- Early Sunday morning, units from Verde Valley Fire District and Cottonwood Fire Department were called to the scene of a vehicle roll over accident off old 279. The vehicle, a Toyota 4 Runner had come to rest on the passenger's side and then burst into flames.

No one was found in the vehicle. Fire crews extinguished the blaze.

Ambulance crew interviewed two minors who were driving the car and waited for their parents to arrive. The teens got out of the vehicle before it caught fire and were not injured.
