Letter: Belief in Obama birth certificate naïve

John A. Bond’s letter to the editor as published July 25 was entitled “Birther nonsense is just that: nonsense.” Bond claims it has been established that President Obama was born in the State of Hawaii. I believe Bond is naïve on that statement.

The only evidence that President Obama was born in Hawaii is the so-called birth certificate they released last year which anyone who has ever used a capable computer graphics program should be able to clearly see was either doctored or a point blank forgery.

In a CBS News broadcast on July 17, 2012, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio announced that his volunteer posse investigators are positive it’s fraudulent. Perhaps naïvety is the reason Mr. Bond sees so much wrong with the GOP/Tea Party and so much right about the Obama Administration.
