Mingus high school 2012 graduate Brian Kaehler will join 22 new wrestling recruits at Jamestown College in North Dakota as one of three 184-pound wrestlers on the Jimmies squad.

Jamestown is a small liberal arts college founded by the Presbyterian Church. Jimmies athletics programs compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

JC head coach C.J. Campbell said, "Brian will add depth for our team at the 184-pound weight class."

Campbell noticed Kaehler on a recruiting website and corresponded with the former Marauder for several months. Kaehler toured the Jamestown College and felt comfortable on the campus accommodating around 1000 students.

"I liked the smaller campus because it felt like Cottonwood," said Kaehler.

As for adapting to the cold weather of North Dakota, Kaehler is originally from Minnesota, so he says it wont be a problem.

Kaehler plans to study Criminal Justice and is excited to join the Jimmies and take part in Campbell's wrestling program.

This will be the second year for Campbell as the head coach. Last year he took the job in September, so he didn't have time to recruit as much as he wanted to, yet the team was still able to produce four national qualifiers and an All American. This year Campbell has had a full recruiting season and he's excited about where the program is headed.

Kaehler is part of a big recruiting class Cambell intends to build into a contender.
