Pavement work on 260 east of Camp Verde for 3 weeks
7/21/2012 2:23:00 PM
The
Arizona Department of Transportation
will begin a project to seal pavement cracks on approximately 20 miles of State Route 260 Tuesday, July 24. Work will start two miles east of Camp Verde and move east for the next three weeks. Work hours will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
ADOT crews will work on a three-mile segment of the highway each day, which will require a single lane closure. Drivers will be directed through the work zone and will be guided by a pilot car. Delays of up to 15 minutes are expected.
Clearly marked detour signage will be in place each day to direct traffic around the work zone. ADOT advises drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
