Dave Rentz and His Really Big Show return to Bent River Books & Music after a too-long absence. Never content to rest on his laurels, Dave continues to evolve as a musician, entertaining the crowd with his unique take on percussion, mandolin and guitar. Spirit of Joy Ice Cream Social

Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church invites the community to a free Ice Cream Social at 3 p.m. The event will take place at the new church campus, 330 Scenic Drive, Clarkdale. There will be fund-raiser activities: A cake walk with beautiful homemade cakes, and a silent auction. Thrivent Financial will provide matching funds. Come and bring a friend. Rabies Vaccine Clinic scheduled
July 12
There will be a clinic for dog rabies vaccinations hosted by the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office, in conjunction with Anasazi Veterinary and Montezuma Veterinary Services, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the town ramada, 75 E. Hollamon St. (next to the soccer field)
Dog rabies vaccinations are $15 (cash or check). No other vaccinations will be available. Licenses will be available for the Town of Camp Verde and Yavapai County residents. License costs vary according to alteration and jurisdiction. All dogs MUST be on leashes.

Steak dinner at the Legion
July 7
The American Legion Post 93, 286 S. Third St. in Camp Verde, proudly presents steaks by Randy and Suzie Bruce on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. Randy has cooked his marinated steaks for many years and has a great following. Steak dinner includes corn on the cob from Hauser Farms, baked potato, salad and all the fixin’s. For your listening and dancing pleasure they have The Wright Brothers at 5:30 p.m. Members and guests are welcome.
