Dave Rentz plays Bent River

July 14

Dave Rentz and His Really Big Show return to Bent River Books & Music after a too-long absence. Never content to rest on his laurels, Dave continues to evolve as a musician, entertaining the crowd with his unique take on percussion, mandolin and guitar.  BC Farmer’s Market restarts July 11

Beaver Creek Farmers’ Market at the Ranch House Restaurant will be closed July 4. Join us again on the 11th and every Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. through Oct. 15.

NAWBO’s July Networking Extravaganza

The Sedona – Verde Valley chapter of National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBOSVV) will hold their monthly meeting at 11:15 a.m. at Poco Diablo in Sedona. Attendees will experience a unique and exciting Networking Extravaganza with the opportunity to network and mastermind with NAWBO members from across the state of Arizona. Spirit of Joy Ice Cream Social

July 14

Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church invites the community to a free Ice Cream Social at 3 p.m. The event will take place at the new church campus, 330 Scenic Drive, Clarkdale. There will be fund-raiser activities:  A cake walk with beautiful homemade cakes, and a silent auction.  Thrivent Financial will provide matching funds. Rabies Vaccine Clinic scheduled

July 12

There will be a clinic for dog rabies vaccinations hosted by the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office, in conjunction with Anasazi Veterinary and Montezuma Veterinary Services, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the town ramada, 75 E. Hollamon St. (next to the soccer field)

Dog rabies vaccinations are $15 (cash or check). No other vaccinations will be available. Licenses will be available for the Town of Camp Verde and Yavapai County residents. License costs vary according to alteration and jurisdiction. All dogs MUST be on leashes.

Steak dinner at the Legion

July 7

The American Legion Post 93, 286 S. Third St. in Camp Verde, proudly presents steaks by Randy and Suzie Bruce on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. Randy has cooked his marinated steaks for many years and has a great following. Steak dinner includes corn on the cob from Hauser Farms, baked potato, salad and all the fixin’s. For your listening and dancing pleasure they have The Wright Brothers at 5:30 p.m. Members and guests are welcome.
