On Friday evening, June 14, Cottonwood Parks & Recreation presented Daddy/Daughter Date Night at the Cottonwood Recreation Center. The event is now in its 13th year and bigger than ever, attracting 48 couples and more, filling the center's 2 adjoining banquet rooms. In anticipation of Father's Day on Sunday, the evening was for girls' ages 5 to 17 and their dads. After a gourmet meal catered by Manzanita restaurant, the dads and daughters hit the dance floor to have fun and create some special memories. VVN/Jon Pelletier
