Letter: Let's spend the money on AZ 260

So ADOT has a traffic fix for 89A and SR260 by adding an additional right turn lane onto SR 260 for $225,000.

As the light turns red for 89A everyone stops, including the right turn lane onto SR260. Why? This backs up traffic.

One second later the green arrow comes on for right turn.

If the green arrow came on before the red light the right turn could continue unabated thus reducing traffic.

A simple fix not requiring $225,000. Money that could be spent for four lanes on SR 260 to Camp Verde.

yesterday. He/she stopped on the yellow. Light turned red. Green arrow for right turn came on. Driver sat. And sat. And...

Four cars could've turned by the time the driver woke up. Two more if the green arrow had come on at the same time as the yellow light.

How about adding 30 seconds to the turn signal from 3pm-4pm.
What happens when the traffic get to the Chevron station?Three lanes back to two.If you use the middle turn lane it will be difficult
and confusing to our Sedona neighbors

@ James Pierce
Because that's way too sensible. But then, maybe ADOT would have jumped at a sensible alternative if the City of Cottonwood had suggested it.
