Obituary: Patti S. Cluff

Patti S. Wheelock Cluff, 55, of Cottonwood, passed away in her sleep on August 7, 2014. She was born on March 14, 1959, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Donald and Beatrice Wheelock.

Patti moved here in 1967 where she attended Cottonwood Elementary School and Mingus Union High School and graduated. She worked for Safeway from 2002-2008 and then went to work for Fry's in 2009. Patti was a hard worker and enjoyed serving the customers, making sure they were always taken care of. She was still employed there at the time of her passing.

She will be greatly missed by all. Patti loved to be with family and would get so excited on holidays and birthdays.

Patti also loved and enjoyed having her pets and would always help any animal in need of help. She enjoyed doing needlepoint, crossword puzzles and collecting wind chimes. She was also a big NASCAR fan and a big fan of Dale Earnhart Jr. and come November, was off to the races at PIR.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Beatrice Wheelock, brother and sisters, Nancy, Betty and Larry Wheelock. She is survived by her brothers Doug (Karen) Wheelock of Almond, WI, Dennis Wheelock of Cottonwood, AZ and Danny Wheelock of Mesa, AZ and her sister, Donna Parker of Cottonwood, AZ.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at Westcott Funeral Home, located at 1013 E. Mingus Ave, Cottonwood, AZ, from 10 AM until 11 AM, with services following at 11 AM.
