City of Cottonwood staffers have returned to the Human Resources Building.

The Main Street administrative facility was one of three Cottonwood locations that were fire-bombed back on April 1.

Cottonwood Police Sgt Cody Savage says there have been no arrests in the case, in which someone used Molotov cocktails to start fires at the H/R building as well as at a Cottonwood bank and a gas station.

The damage at the Human Resources building was the most extensive, The building had to be closed and thoroughly restored.

HR Director Iris Dobler said new furniture has arrived and that the seven employees displaced because of the fire are now moving back into their work space.

The department has been temporarily housed at the Public Safety Building on 6th street.
