Article comment by: Council Members Elected Via Unknown Count.

As the reporter Jon indicates in the news item the
three "elected" have been declared as receiving
the votes to take our council seats.

Since in reality the real vote count is not known
by the citizens of Cottonwood and also not known
by the election workers/official in Prescott we
hope that the total membership of the Cottonwood
City council and our mayor will change the
election laws and procedures to allow a Verify
hand count of the ballots. This action will be a
positive act of the council in recognizing every
citizen of Cottonwood their "Full Voting Rights".

Thanks and Good Luck,

Article comment by: Slater Slater Could Be Right With The 51% Feeding...

If you add up all of us who feed at the gov $ table
it will surprise you...such as:

1. total gov (fed, state, local) workforce and
retirees.
2. total gov (fed, state, local) contractors
workforce and retirees.
3. total folks on entitlements as: social security
retirement, ss disablility, food stamps, farm
subsidies, medical/health programs, sports
and recreation subsidies.
4.....you can more to this list.

The total number of people being supported
by gov (fed, state, local) can/will reach 51% or
maybe more.

"The Gov feeds over 51% (majority) of our citizens." Slater, where did you get THAT tidbit of poppycock?
First, the Gov does not feed anyone. Our legislature and Federal programs run the help nets. Our churches and other non profits run food banks. I don't see Gov in any of those.
Lastly, stay on topic. You barely touched the topic when asked the council members to preserve the rights of all people. They only have to look out for Cottonwood.
To the new council of Cottonwood, best of luck and success to you. Yours is a thankless job, but a necessary one.

I hope the recently elected officials will help
protect the citizens rights.(all rights). The Gov
feeds over 51%(majority) of our citizens. This
enables them to march the sheep to the cliff.
When the Gov says jump, which way do you go.Your on the cliff right now.
I fully understand the Gov is looking at this and
one must be concerned. So when your on Skype, facebook etc big brother is watching. The
problem is the Gov interprets your thoughts and decides if your a threat.God help you if
the administration has an issue with you.
It looks like the veterans who gave it all to protect your rights are just an after though.
The next time the Gov wants you to go to an undeclared War,just say no.Make the Congress declare the war instead of sending people to their deaths on a whim.
Always remember you can" TRUST THE" GOV.
