The Children's Celebration is an annual event sponsored by BVCS to highlight National Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month. The purpose is to focus public attention on the needs of families with young children, from birth through 12-years. An additional goal is to support early childhood programs. Parents will discover many programs available to their children in our area.
On April 2, Mayor Diane Joens presented a Cottonwood City proclamation to Director Erin Mabery, to recognize Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month. Mayor Joens will share in the special anniversary celebration by making opening remarks.
Child Abuse Prevention Starts with You.
The Celebration provides fun, hands-on activities for children as well as offering networking and awareness-raising for organizations in the community.
