The Mingus Union School Board and administration discussed the current search for a new district superintendent during the board's regular meeting Thursday night.
Application information is posted on the MUHS website home page with links to a brochure and application form. Mike Aylstock of Aylstock Consulting has submitted the application packet to agencies and entities in Arizona for posting on their respective websites.
"Mike has been receiving calls," said Superintendent Tim Foist. "He has been receiving inquiries."
"I've had a couple of calls I've referred to Mr. Aylstock," said Jim Ledbetter, board president.
Aylstock is directing the search for candidates to replace Tim Foist as superintendent. He is resigning at the end of June.
The timeline for the search was under way Feb 6, and the deadline for applications will be March 22. Finalists will be announced April 2.
Candidate interviews are set for April 9-10, and the announcement of the successful candidate will be made April 17. The new superintendent will begin July or on a date agreed upon.
